Hungry for God ("HFG," "we," "our," or "us") is a Christian ministry committed to prayer, discipleship, community outreach, and worldwide evangelism. Protecting the privacy of the people we serve and communicate with is important to us.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information obtained through our website, forms, events, evangelism programs, prayer initiatives, and ministry communications, including SMS/text messaging.

Our evangelism efforts may include digital evangelism, prayer outreach, telephone calls, email, SMS/text messaging, WhatsApp, social media, Bible studies, virtual meetings, conferences, missionary activities, community outreach, and in-person events.
Individuals who voluntarily provide their contact information or opt in to HFG communications receive ministry-related communications according to the preferences and consent they provide.
4. SMS/TEXT MESSAGE PRIVACY
When you provide your mobile phone number and affirmatively opt in to receive text messages from Hungry for God, you consent to receive recurring SMS/text communications from HFG at the number provided.
Types of messages. Messages may include prayer reminders, Bible verses, ministry updates, event reminders, registration confirmations, evangelism and discipleship messages, and other HFG ministry-related communications.
Frequency & cost. Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with our programs. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from HFG. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.
Help. For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the information in Section 13 below.
Not a condition of purchase. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of making a donation, purchasing anything, or participating in any HFG service or ministry activity.
No sale or sharing for marketing. HFG does not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This no-sharing commitment applies regardless of any general sharing permissions described elsewhere in this policy.
Limited service use. SMS opt-in data and consent are used only as reasonably necessary to: (a) operate and deliver HFG's messaging program; (b) comply with applicable law; and (c) work with service providers (such as our SMS/texting platform) who help us deliver the communications you requested. These providers may not use your mobile information for their own independent marketing purposes.
5. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
Individuals who subscribe to HFG email communications may receive ministry updates, event announcements, prayer information, evangelism resources, and other HFG communications. Recipients may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link provided in applicable emails.
6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
HFG does not sell personal information.
We may provide limited information to trusted service providers that help us operate our ministry and communications, such as website hosting providers, customer relationship management systems, email providers, SMS/messaging providers, payment processors, and other technology providers. These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to HFG or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
As stated in Section 4, mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstance.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect HFG, our users, or others.
7. DATA SECURITY
HFG uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the ministry or operational purpose for which it was collected, comply with applicable legal requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate records.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
HFG does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, please contact us.
10. YOUR CHOICES
You may contact HFG to request that we update or correct your personal information, or discontinue certain communications. SMS recipients may reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. HFG is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or platforms.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
