1. ABOUT HUNGRY FOR GOD
Hungry for God ("HFG," "we," "us," or "our") is a Christian ministry committed to prayer, worship, discipleship, charitable outreach, and worldwide evangelism.
Evangelism is central to our mission. HFG uses in-person and digital communication — including email, telephone, SMS/text messaging, and other channels — to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, provide prayer and biblical encouragement, disciple believers, and invite individuals to participate in ministry activities.
2. WEBSITE USE
By accessing wearehfg.org (the "Website"), you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not: attempt to compromise the security of the Website; submit fraudulent or false information; impersonate another person or entity; distribute viruses or malicious software; or use HFG's Website or resources for any unlawful purpose.
3. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING TERMS
HFG offers an SMS messaging program for individuals who voluntarily opt in.
Consent. By providing your mobile phone number and checking the applicable consent checkbox, submitting a signup form, or otherwise affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS/text messages from Hungry for God (HFG) at the mobile number provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or similar technology.
Types of messages. Messages may include:
Prayer reminders;
Bible verses and spiritual encouragement;
Ministry announcements;
Event reminders and registration confirmations;
Evangelism and discipleship communications; and
Other HFG ministry-related updates.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with our ministry and programs.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out. You may cancel the SMS program at any time. Text STOP to the number you received messages from. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.
Help. For assistance, text HELP at any time, or contact us using the information in Section 12 below.
Supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers supported include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and other major U.S. carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Not a condition of purchase. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of making a donation, purchasing any goods or services, or participating in any HFG ministry activity.
Your information. Mobile information, including phone numbers, SMS opt-in status, and consent, will not be sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you the requested SMS service, except as required to deliver the service itself (e.g., our SMS platform provider) or as required by law.

4. MINISTRY COMMUNICATIONS
Individuals may voluntarily subscribe to receive prayer, evangelism, event, discipleship, and other ministry communications from HFG. HFG may communicate through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, or other channels based on your consent and stated communication preferences. You may update or withdraw your preferences at any time using the applicable opt-out method for that channel.
5. DONATIONS
Donations to HFG are voluntary and support our religious, charitable, evangelistic, outreach, and ministry activities. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of donation, processed donations are non-refundable.
6. SPIRITUAL CONTENT
Sermons, Bible studies, prayers, teachings, videos, and other HFG materials are provided for religious, spiritual, educational, and informational purposes only. They are not intended as medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other licensed professional advice.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, HFG owns or is authorized to use the Website's branding, ministry materials, graphics, videos, sermons, teachings, and other original content. Unauthorized commercial reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
HFG may use third-party platforms for website hosting, communications (including SMS delivery), payment processing, registration, and related services. Use of these third-party services may also be subject to the respective provider's own terms and privacy policies.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HFG shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the Website or ministry communications, including SMS messages.
10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
HFG may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our Website with its effective date.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
